What are the causes of domestic violence? This question is asked by many professionals concerned with the issue of domestic violence, because of the answer to this question depends on the effectiveness of the strategies chosen early prevention of aggressive behavior toward family. Recently, more and more researchers to find answers to this question have been paying close attention to children and especially teenage experience. After adolescence - a time when becoming older children formed the basis of intersexual relations, when the basic principles laid out in the future that will shape their own practice of family relationships. What will be the relationship depends largely on the knowledge that the teenager take from the surrounding adult world has learned in the process of socialization, checked practically on their own experience, and - as a result - a foothold in the strict form of certain stereotypes, operate and which appeal to which it will be in the future.
This article provides an overview and analysis of the existing Russian and foreign studies on the theme "Young people and domestic violence." Based on the results of a comprehensive study, I will try to trace what can be called the genealogy of domestic violence: the process of formation and consolidation of specific adolescent attitudes and stereotypes on the basis of which the future will be built and played out scenarios of violent family relationships. I just want to make a small reservation. Of course, the way every teenager - deeply individual and unique. Personal experiences of teenage life is in a saturated environment of social and cultural beliefs, expectations and prohibitions he governed system of rewards and penalties - all of which can be unique to each case. Resorting to his analysis of the results of studies conducted at different times and in different socio-cultural spaces, I, of course, limits the multiplicity of experiences outside of forced generalizations. This methodological approach, on the one hand, leaves a wide space for criticism because it does not allow to fully reveal the uniqueness of each individual life experience. On the other hand, only through this methodological techniques can be clearly, albeit schematic, outline the contours of the broader picture and indicate the theoretical limits within which it is possible to trace the main trends, actualizing experience adolescents associated with violence.
However, before immediately initiate a review of existing studies and analysis let's look at the phenomenon of domestic violence in terms of the features that distinguish it from other aggressive actions. What exactly do we mean when we talk about domestic violence?
